Rock am Ring is sold out this year, the paths are muddy, the weather changes between Eifel gray, short showers and friendlier moments in the late afternoon. Football jerseys are already replacing the classic band shirt here and there. The question of when the beer fair will take place at C1 also concerns some people at least as much as the running order. And anyone who wants to move against the current through 90,000 people quickly learns: anticyclicality is only a good idea at the ring when queuing for food. Otherwise it’s best to just go with the crowd.
