A recovery company had to come to the highway to tow away a vehicle, causing traffic on the A9 to stand still for a long time.
Both lanes have now been cleared by Rijkswaterstaat.
The delay from Beverwijk increases to approximately 70 minutes, but according to Rijkswaterstaat this will now slowly decrease.
