Alexia, how did you start in this activity?
At the age of 20, while studying Economics, I began to question whether this was the path I wanted to follow. It was a deep concern, because I felt that something was not closing for me. When I entered the world of work, I understood why: theory and practice did not always coincide. My first experience, at 21 years old, was in a very organized company, with clear processes and an innovative outlook for that time. There I discovered something that marked me: companies function as systems, where each part plays a role, and management is what really defines their direction. That was the turning point that changed my way of seeing the profession.
And was it then that you started DOMINÓ Gestión?
Yes, that concern became a project over time. First it was an idea, something that was developing internally, and then it took shape as a professional path. Together with my partner and life partner, we began to build what today is DOMINÓ Gestión. It is a journey that was consolidated over more than 16 years of work experience, working from within companies and understanding their real dynamics, not from theory but from practice.
Specifically, what services do you offer through the consulting firm?
We accompany companies from different sectors in professionalization processes. We work on real management: we organize information, design work circuits, implement tools and help transform data into decisions. But our focus is not just on “ordering”, but on making the company work with greater clarity, predictability and less dependence on intuition. Many times companies grow, but management does not accompany that growth, and that is where the problems begin. Our job is precisely to align this management with the business, so that the decisions have support and direction.
What is the differential of DOMINÓ Gestión?
Our differential is in the closeness and in the comprehensive view. We do not work from the outside, but from inside the business, understanding what happens to the businessman, his team and the daily dynamics of the company. In addition, we work with professionals specialized in different areas—such as human resources, legal, communication or marketing—which allows us to address each process completely. We are not looking for isolated solutions, but rather to build a management base that is sustainable over time.
How do you project growth?
Growth occurs as a consequence of the path traveled. Today the focus is on continuing to consolidate this way of working, adding professionals and strengthening the team to be able to accompany more companies. The idea is that more and more organizations can move from operational management to professional management, where information and processes are truly at the service of decisions and growth.
Finally, a reflection on the path traveled…
Over the years I understood that many decisions could have been made before, but that each stage was necessary to build this view. Today I am clear that behind every company there are people trying to make their business work, often with effort and without clear tools. Our job is to accompany this process, with information, with criteria and with direction. Because management is, ultimately, what transforms effort into results.
