The Crescent-Stars team lost the match played in Brasilia, the capital of Brazil, and suffered their first defeat in the tournament.
Saliha Şahin, who could not continue the game due to injury in the Dominican Republic match, was rested as a precaution due to muscle strain in her right thigh.
The national team will face the last champion of the VNL, Italy, in their 3rd match in the Brazil stage on Saturday, June 6, at 21.30 CET.
