RRome, 4 June. (askanews) – On the occasion of its twentieth anniversary, theArt Forum Wuerth Capenain Capena, in the province of Rome, runs until 11 September 2027 From head to toe. The body in the Wuerth Collection, a large collective show that brings together over 50 workscreated between 1888 and 2020, by a rich selection of international artists, including Hans (Jean) Arp, Fernando Botero, Giorgio de Chirico, Jan Fabre, Alex Katz, Arnulf Rainer, and Andy Warhol. The image of Adam and Eve by Botero, symbol of the exhibition, expresses the theme of corporeality as volume, icon and story.

Valentina Spagnuolo, director of the Art Forum Wuerth Capena, one of the 15 exhibition spaces of the Wuerth group in Europe, a network of museums interconnected with corporate realities. «The exhibition brings together very different visions, languages and techniques. We have structured an exhibition divided into 5 thematic areas dedicated to the body in different dimensions: the first is dedicated to the theme of the body as an original force and regenerative energy, here we find works by Jaen Arp, Ugo Dossi, Marc Quinn”, he explained.
These museums are located within companies but they are open free to the public: «This collection has come to matter today over 21,000 works and is mainly concentrated on contemporary art, covering the last 150 years of art history, but within it also includes a nucleus of works dedicated to the ancient German and Swiss masters”.
“Since its opening this exhibition space has hosted over 20 exhibition projects, welcoming over 200,000 visitors, many of whom are students,” he added.
