Eintracht Frankfurt could have found a successor for the sought-after national player Nathaniel Brown: 19-year-old full-back Jorge Salinas (Racing Santander) is said to have taken a shine to the Hessians.
Jorge Salinas from Spanish newcomer Racing Santander is said to be fond of Eintracht Frankfurt. This is reported by “Cadena SER” and “AS”, among others.
Accordingly, the eagle bearers are far from the only ones who have their eye on Salinas. FC Barcelona, Atlético Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen, Newcastle United, Paris Saint-Germain, FC Porto and FC Bologna are also said to have the youngster on their list. Transfer insider Ekrem Konur also reports that the clubs have already contacted Salinas’ star agent Jorge Mendes.
Salinas became an absolute regular at Racing Santander in 2025/26. In 33 league games, the Spanish U19 international scored a whopping seven goals, but also received nine yellow cards and one dismissal.
Will Salinas come if Brown leaves Eintracht Frankfurt?
However, his employer’s supposed asking price could prove to be a hurdle for the SGE. Santander should insist that interested parties put at least the 16 million euros on the table, which provides for an exit clause in the defensive player’s contract, which runs until the summer of 2029.
According to “CadenaSER”, however, there should be no specific “room for interpretation” that could significantly reduce the amount.
Eintracht Frankfurt is very strong on the left defensive side with DFB star Nathaniel Brown, but the World Cup driver is considered a candidate who could bring urgently needed millions into Frankfurt’s coffers. Among other things, FC Bayern is said to be interested in Brown.
There was recently a transfer demand of around 50 million euros. A sum that would probably leave room for an advance on Salinas.
