FC Bayern is said to have reached a verbal agreement on a change with Moroccan World Cup driver Ismael Saibari from PSV Eindhoven.
This is reported by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, among others. Sabari, who can play as a ten, nine and right winger, wants the transfer to Munich, it is said. Talks are now underway between FC Bayern and Eindhoven.
The Munich team should also push for a quick agreement in the club-to-club negotiations. Should there be a breakthrough, the 25-year-old would reportedly receive a contract at Säbener Straße until 2030.
“Sky” had previously reported on a personal conversation between Saibari, coach Vincent Kompany and sports director Max Eberl and a written offer to the players.
It was still completely unclear what fee PSV would charge for Saibari, it was said. His contract in Eindhoven runs until 2029.
In April, transfer reporter Ekrem Konur wrote at X about a price tag of 50 million euros.
Saibari shone last season with 19 goals in 37 appearances for Eindhoven.
In the Champions League, the offensive player scored in his current employer’s 2-1 defeat against FC Bayern in the league phase.
The right-footed player won the Dutch championship with PSV and was voted player of the season in the Eredivisie.
Transfer defeat for FC Bayern
FC Bayern had previously made intensive efforts to sign Anthony Gordon from Newcastle United. Ultimately, the price quoted was too high for the Munich team, and FC Barcelona won the race. According to reports, up to 80 million euros will flow to Newcastle for Gordon.
Manchester City central defender Josko Gvardiol, who is also traded to FC Bayern, is also said to be in Barca’s sights. Gvardiol is tied to Manchester City until 2028.
The Croatian is said to have a new five-year contract with the reigning FA Cup winners, but his future is still unclear.
