Qmusic star Marieke Elsinga broke her foot during the recording of her radio program and apparently that makes her even grumpier than she normally is. “Passive-aggressive!”

Marieke Elsinga’s temper is infamous. She can still smile so nicely on all those posters, but behind that facade lies a world full of grumpiness. Complaining is pretty much hair middle name. According to her, life as a young mother is difficult to combine with a morning show on Qmusic. Or, as she calls it: “K*T morning show!”

Complaining mom

Anyway, now she has also broken her foot and so Marieke has some other things to complain about. “An email came from you last week and this goes to the entire Qmusic company. That’s really a lot of people,” notes her colleague Mattie Valk. in their program.

What does that email say? “Good morning. Every disadvantage has its advantage. Due to my broken foot, I can use the disabled toilet without feeling guilty. I have found the seats up there a number of times. Impressive indeed, an invalid who urinates while standing.”

Glasses down

Marieke is really annoyed by that. “If you recognize yourself, would you please lower the glasses? Always a bit cooler and also more convenient. I now have to fold them down with my crutch before I can sit down. Thanks.”

A bit exaggerated, Mattie thinks. He concludes: “I thought this was such a fascinating, passion-aggressive email. We all actually read this email with increasing amazement.”
