English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur are said to be keeping an eye on Eintracht Frankfurt’s Jean-Matteo Bahoya. This is reported by the portal “fussballdaten.de”. “Behind the scenes” the deal is gaining momentum.
Accordingly, the SGE winger is one of the “most important targets for the coming transfer window” for Spurs. There are said to be doubts in London as Bahoya has not yet proven his abilities at the absolute top level, but the island club’s scouts are said to be convinced that the French U21 international has sufficient potential.

According to the report, however, the transfer fee will ultimately once again be the deciding factor. Frankfurt, it is said, will not let Bahoya (contract until 2029) go cheaply. It remains unclear exactly where the Hessians’ pain threshold should be, but Tottenham should put the eagle bearers to the test with an offer of 35 million euros. This should also include possible bonus payments.
Most recently, “fichajes.net” also reported on Spurs’ supposed interest in Bahoya. The portal also reported that Frankfurt was demanding around 70 million euros. A sum that is a long way from the rumored Spurs bid, but which also seems excessive given Bahoya’s previous achievements.
