“The CDU/CSU parliamentary group regularly stands sideways. As with the pension retention line, the election of constitutional judges and the military service reform, with the Bafög increase, it is apparently preparing to subsequently reclaim a compromise that has long been negotiated with the SPD. What is also shocking is the level of denial of reality that Minister Dorothee Bär shows in her initiative: It is “not a drama if students are next door the CSU woman let it be known. However, the fact that 70 percent of all students work part-time in order to partially finance their living does not seem to have yet entered the research minister’s imagination.
