“Complex rescue operation”: Speleologist freed from cave in northern Italy after twelve hours after leg got stuck under boulder

A caver was freed from a cave in northern Italy this morning after a particularly difficult rescue operation. The man in his twenties was stuck at a depth of 120 meters for about twelve hours after his leg became trapped under a boulder. After his rescue he was taken to hospital. According to the emergency services, his life is not in danger.
