A touch of Italian glamor in the French racing team: The Alpine Formula 1 team will be cooperating with the luxury fashion brand Gucci from next season. From the 2027 season, the team will also have a new name: “Gucci Racing Alpine Formula One Team”. In the future, the cars will be designed in the colors of the Italian luxury fashion brand. Alpine and the fashion house announced this on Wednesday.

To mark the announcement, the racing team published photos of a covered Formula 1 car. The cover featured the Gucci emblem with the word “Racing” as well as the brand’s signature green-red-green design.
Briatore said in a statement: “The Enstone team is known for doing things differently than others and has already shown that fashion can take first place in Formula 1.” He is “incredibly proud” of the partnership. The collaboration underlines “the team’s growing dynamism” – after starting the season with 35 points and fifth place in the team rankings.
