The students’ summer vacation starts with the school’s spring festival. Public figures also celebrated the end of their own, their children’s or friends’ studies.

Purra remembers having to give a speech at the graduation ceremony of the primary class. According to Purra, his speech was different and humorous and “not at all suitable for the traditional dignity of a Latin school”.
– It started so that, when my name was called, I yelled from behind something like: “Is this some kind of joke?! I really don’t make any speeches at this school!” Then I was dragged on stage.
– I don’t remember the details of the speech, but I do remember that there were spikes in it about the school’s certain importance. I really appreciated good teachers and gave them credit. The audience laughed, sometimes even howled, so the speech was a success.
