Eleven people were killed in Israeli airstrikes on three locations in the Tire region in southern Lebanon on Friday. The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced this.

The victims reportedly included an aid worker and a Syrian citizen.

The attacks also injured eight people, including another aid worker, the ministry said, describing the attacks as a “blatant violation of humanitarian law.”

Despite the ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon agreed in April, Israel continues to carry out air strikes. According to the country, these are necessary to protect Israel against attacks by the Lebanese Shiite movement Hezbollah.
