Hungary gets its way: more than 16 billion in European money to Budapest after political upheaval

Hungary will still receive more than 16 billion euros in withheld European funds. Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, announced this on Friday in Brussels. New Prime Minister Péter Magyar says he will implement all the reforms that his predecessor Viktor Orbán “could not or did not want to implement”.
