Green pastures with a dozen horses and cows color the Dutch Heesselt. Barely 400 people live in this polder village, about 45 kilometers from the Belgian border. Via the main road Waalbandijk you reach one of the only five streets in the village. On one side you look out on the river Waal and on the other side you bump into villas with thatched roofs. The church shows off beautifully in the middle. And there is also a tea house.
