Host and rally karter Janni Hussi speaks The word is free podcast about the comments he has received regarding his singleness.
Hussi did recently Instagram postin which he said he was comfortable alone and recommended others to learn the same. Hussi also mentions the publication in the podcast.
Hussi says that one group of men was highlighted in the comments of the publication, who instructed to make children, get a man and get married. The comments exuded the idea that happiness could be achieved through these factors.
– They don’t really believe me when I say that I really have things just fine like this, Hussi says.
– Could we sometimes also celebrate the fact that being alone is cool, Hussi says.
Huss’s co-host Sointu Borg states in the episode that loneliness and being alone are two different things.
– Exactly. How can we get the good news of being alone, that we don’t have to worry about it either, says Hussi.
– That it’s just my brain chemistry, which is so messed up that it’s really okay this way, he continues.
Hussi sends a message to young men in the episode.
– You are not behind in any way. No need to rush. Now enjoy that solitude. You will have time to be in a relationship until you get bored later, he states.
Therapist and sdp MP Ville Merinen, who is a guest on the podcast, is delighted with Huss’s idea.
– Nicely said. So that kind of compulsion is gone. That would be the best, Merinen says.
Hussi divorced entrepreneur Joel Harkimo last July. The couple got engaged in 2021 and married in the summer of 2023.
