The Rosmalen grass tournament has given wildcards to the Dutch talents Thijs Boogaard and Mees Röttgering. The 17-year-old Boogaard has received a wildcard for the main schedule of the ATP tournament. The 18-year-old Röttgering received a starting ticket for the qualifying tournament, reports the organization of the Libéma Open.

With Boogaard, three Dutch people are participating in the main tournament for the men. The arrival of Tallon Greekpoor and Botic van de Zandschulp was previously announced. Suzan Lamens is participating in the WTA tournament.

Boogaard already played at the ATP-500 tournament in Rotterdam in February. The 17-year-old talent was immediately allowed to compete against tennis legend Stan Wawrinka in his debut. The Dutchman had to admit his superiority in the three-time Grand Slam winner: 6-3, 6-4.

Röttgering was also allowed to participate in the qualifications with a wild card during last year’s Libema Open. The number 454 in the world just failed to qualify for the main tournament.

Gabriel Diallo and Elise Mertens are the defending champions in the singles on the grass courts in Rosmalen.
