The conflict continues in the sister series.

In the press release, MTV says that the series will continue in the form of a sister series. Conflict 1944 filming of the series is currently underway.
The series is set in the same era as Louhimiehe’s premiere in October War in Lapland -movie. Conflict 1944 examines a historical crisis that culminates in one of the most central moments in Finnish history.
– Conflict 1944 to build a connection with the original modern Conflictseries, but we don’t want to reveal more about the series or its content yet, series producer Andrei Alén commented in the press release.
Domestic action series Conflict aroused strongly divided reactions when it appeared. The award-winning six-part series takes place in NATO-Finland.
Some of the viewers left the series after the opening episode.
– It’s outrageous, MTV3, that you show such a series, and also that the events take place in our country. Every day we get to read and see about wars and people’s distress and suffering. It bothers me and many others, Raya summed up the thoughts of many, which have been presented on both MTV3’s and Katsomo’s Facebook.
– How dare you present a program and cause more pain in these sad times, when we need comfort and hope? Can the screenwriters come up with nothing but more war mongering? Shame on MTV3!
On behalf of MTV3, Raija answered on social media Teemuwho promised to carry the message forward. He also explained the making of the series.
– Conflict is a fictional action series whose realistic events make it interesting and thought-provoking. Conflict has been done for a long time, and during that time the world around us has changed a lot. The events of the series are now more current than we thought.
Part of the audience, on the other hand, considered the topicality of the series to be a strength, even though it is a fictional TV series.
– I really watch every episode. The series is a good reminder that Finland is no longer necessarily a Bird’s Nest, so you shouldn’t be lulled into it, no matter how you are in NATO, Fairy tale comment.
Conflict 1944 – series is planned to premiere on MTV in the fall of 2027.
