As “oe24” reports from Austria, FC Schalke 04 is looking at attacker Sasa Kalajdzic from LASK. The 2-meter man won the national double with Linz last season.
Now it is said to be a “hot topic” in Gelsenkirchen. At Schalke one could imagine a Kalajdzic transfer regardless of the outcome of the open Dzeko question.
Discussions are currently underway with the 40-year-old Bosnian about continuing the collaboration. Dzeko moved from Fiorentina to the Knappen in the winter, but only signed a contract until June 30th.
“We can very well imagine that Edin can still have value for us in the Bundesliga, both on and off the pitch,” said sports director Frank Baumann recently about the veteran. The Schalke squad planner revealed: “We are in discussions that he might extend it for another year.”
