Update in Denmark

Transfermarkt has updated the market values in the Danish Superliga and, among others, raised Fiete Arp to the highest value since his departure from FC Bayern. The biggest changes are at talent-packed FC Midtjylland and surprise champions Aarhus GF, while FC Copenhagen and Youssoufa Moukoko have seen the biggest losses in the league.
The 26-year-old Arp, who has been under contract with Odense Boldklub since this season, is making a jump from 1.2 million to 1.7 million euros. Most recently, the offensive player, who is used as a playmaker in Denmark, was worth more as an FC Bayern player in January 2021. The reason for the upgrade was eleven goals and four assists in 35 appearances, only his compatriot Noah Ganaus is ahead of him in terms of scorers within the club. There were 14 goals and five assists for the former Regensburg player, who is now worth 1.5 million euros (+€0.3 million).
The season was much more modest for another ex-Bundesliga talent: Youssoufa Moukoko. The 21-year-old was supposed to get his career back on track in Copenhagen, but largely fell short of expectations. At first glance, 18 goals and three assists in 41 appearances seem like a decent result, but six goals alone came from cup games against second division teams. A further devaluation of 2 million euros – the biggest loss in the league – to 5 million euros was therefore unavoidable, meaning Moukoko’s market value has halved since the start of the season.
Further devaluations for the record champions, who only qualified for the Conference League via the relegation round, include veteran Viktor Claesson (-1 to €1 million), former Frankfurt player Aurélio Buta (-1 to €2 million) and goalkeeper Dominik Kotarski (-1 to €5 million). Overall, the squad value falls to 70.03 million euros, a loss of 3.92 million euros.
Still clearly at the top of the most valuable teams is Midtjylland, which has the biggest winner of the update in Darío Osorio and the league’s most valuable professional in Franculino. The Chilean winger Osorio earned an increase from 10 million to 15 million euros with eight goals and ten assists, while his team partner remains unchanged at 22 million euros. “Both players are already associated with clubs from abroad, and a move to a top 5 league is considered likely,” explains market value admin “sami09”.
Of the twelve most valuable players in the league, seven play for Midtjylland, and yet Aarhus GF surprisingly became champions for the first time in 40 years. However, the squad did not make any huge jumps in market value due to the high average age of 26.8. The largest of a total of ten appreciations go to the accounts of Kristian Arnstad (+1 to €6 million) and Gift Links (+1 to €2.5 million). Janni Serra, who scored two important goals in the championship round, will increase by 50,000 to 400,000 euros.
