The nature of Lake Puljujärvi is bad news for Switzerland.

Jesse Puljujärvi, who was in good shape at the World Cup, scored two power points again when Finland beat Austria 5–2 on Sunday evening.

The attacker now has 4+4 points with six matches behind him.

However, from Puljujärvi’s words, it can be interpreted that the best has not even been seen yet.

At the beginning of the tournament, Sakari Manninen said that he expected that his teammate from Geneve-Servette would “get a little angry”, because at that point the opponents “end up playing”.

Are you angry yet, Jesse Puljujärvi?

– I’m not quite right yet.

What would it take?

– I don’t really know. Maybe it’s there inside the head that we can really sing properly.

Do you play better when pissed off?

– There are different levels in that too. It’s not always necessarily the best.

Puljujärvi received a blow to the neck from the opponent with a cross stick in the opening match against Latvia. Fortunately, there was no permanent injury.

– It felt like that for a while, but at the end of the evening it gave way.

– There was actually no need to do anything. It just left.

For the Lions, the first group of the World Cup is now complete without one match. The group will culminate with a game against the also undefeated Switzerland.

– We are expecting a tough game in this group. That’s a good gauge as we head into the quarterfinals. Let’s see who wins, Puljujärvi mumbles.
