The PS wants to award a check for 200 euros to families with an average income. That is what Paul Magnette said this morning at RTL. The PS chairman thinks this is better than the temporary VAT reduction proposed by Minister of Finance Vincent Van Peteghem (CD&V), because, according to him, it mainly benefits higher incomes. “The richest 10 to 20 percent don’t need this,” says the PS chairman.
