Traveling home from Eurovision in Austria Pete Parkkonen received warm attention on the flight to Finland, news Ilta-Sanomat.
Parkkonen received separate congratulations from the plane’s captain when the flight left Austria for Finland.
– Have a nice journey home for visa tourists. And if you didn’t get pulled over as a mere tourist, have a nice trip home and good luck with your performance, the plane’s captain wished.
According to IS, Parkkonen noted the congratulations.
Pete Parkkonen and the violinist Linda Lampenius represented Finland in Saturday’s Eurovision final. The duo, who entered the competition as pre-favorites, finished sixth in the competition.
