Ohana Festival in Dana Point, California, has announced the lineup for its 10th anniversary edition – and that includes Pearl Jam’s first performance since the departure of drummer Matt Cameron a year ago. The three-day event runs September 25-27 and also features performances from Eddie Vedder & Friends, Tyler Childers, Alabama Shakes, Fontaines DC, Pixies, Rilo Kiley, Billy Idol, Jon Batiste and Maná. Pre-sales are already underway for members of the Ten Club, General advance sales start on May 14th.

Cameron separated amicably from Pearl Jam in July 2025 – after 27 years. “Much love and respect to Jeff, Ed, Mike and Stone for welcoming me into the band in 1998 and giving me the opportunity of a lifetime – filled with friendships, creativity, challenges and laughter,” he said in a statement. “I am forever grateful to the crew, staff and fans around the world. It has been an incredible journey. More to come. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.”

Just last month, Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready told American Songwriter that the band had not yet found a new drummer. “We’re talking about it right now and figuring out what our next step is,” McCready said. “I can’t tell you anything concrete because I don’t know yet… We’re moving very, very slowly – and then when something happens, everything happens very quickly.”

Who is on the drums?

It is still unclear whether the band will sign a permanent successor by then, make their decision by September or be on stage at the Ohana Festival with a substitute musician. When Cameron fell ill with Covid in 2022, the group brought in original drummer Dave Krusen, multi-instrumentalist John Klinghoffer and veteran Seattle musician Richard Stuverud to fill in.

Eddie Vedder has curated the Ohana Festival since its inception in 2016. Over the years, Green Day, Foo Fighters, the Chucks, Pretenders, Stevie Nicks, Jack White, the Killers, the Strokes and the Red Hot Chili Peppers have performed there, among others.

In addition to the headliners, this year’s lineup also includes Bad Religion, Courtney Barnett, Sugar, the Format, Tom Odell and Men I Trust.
