The 2030 Winter Games in Thialf are getting closer: ‘We want to make it a big Olympic party’

The chance that the 26th Winter Games will be partly held in the Netherlands has increased considerably after Monday evening. The French organizing committee has announced that it wants to further involve the Thialf ice stadium in the final plans to organize the Olympic skating tournament in Heerenveen in 2030. The decision will be made at the end of June and it will become clear whether Friesland will host the Olympic skaters.
