Andriy Yermak, the previous chief of staff of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, has been officially charged with corruption. This was reported by the Ukrainian anti-corruption agency SAPO. Yermak was fired by Zelensky in November last year after his office was searched by anti-corruption services. Although he had not yet been officially charged, Yermak was deeply unpopular with the Ukrainian population and his close associates were often involved in corruption scandals.
