More than twenty motorists received a fine after they ignored the red crosses above the A2 near Den Bosch on Saturday evening. Part of the road was closed for a short time to catch a cow walking across the road.
After reports that the red crosses were being ignored en masse, a motorcycle police officer decided to take a look there. He recorded the various offenders. “A red cross is there for a reason,” the traffic police emphasize on Instagram. “This protects road users and emergency services.”
After a chase the cow was captured. A vet and a transport came to the highway to remove the animal from the highway. The cow was eventually taken away safely.
