Heirs of the infamous Dutch SS commander Hendrik Seyffardt still have a painting stolen by the Nazis from the famous collection of the Jewish art dealer Jacques Goudstikker hanging on their wall. Research by De Telegraaf and the well-known art detective Arthur Brand shows that the painting ‘Portrait of a Young Girl’ by the Dutch painter Toon Kelder (1894-1973), stolen by the Nazis, is still in the possession of Seyffardt’s heirs to this day. It hangs in a house in the Utrecht area.
