The first violin of these Internationals, as we know, is the Fox number 1 in the ranking. But music in Rome sounds not only metaphorically, and in industrial quantities. In fact, Music Break returns to the Foro Italico, the format that aims to once again combine tennis and entertainment: a series of performances before and after the most important matches of the day. Today, for example, Rome will resemble Sanremo a little more: before the challenge between Sinner and Ofner, Brunori Sas, third in the 2025 edition of the Festival, will perform.

With a view to bringing sport and great music even closer together, this year Music Break will host numerous leading artists from the Italian scene. The calendar of concerts at the Foro Italico, in addition to tonight’s performance by Brunori Sas, is made up as follows: Serena Brancale on 10th May, Noemi on 11th May, Ditonellapiaga on 12th May, Francesco Gabbani on 13th May, Fiorella Mannoia on 14th, Nek on 15th. Circololetto rosso instead on the appointment of Saturday 16 May when Francesco Renga’s performance will not be held during the evening slot, but will fill the Centrale with music a few hours in advance: the artist will in fact sing before the women’s final.

The idea of including Music Break in the International program is actually a confirmation from the organization after last year’s excellent numbers. In fact, in the 2025 edition at the Foro Italico the event was opened on the Friday of the first week by Luca Barbarossa and closed on the weekend of the finals by the national anthem sung by Frida Bollani: in the middle, among others, The Kolors, Raf and Francesco Gabbani performed. The Tuscan singer has never hidden his passion for tennis as well as his admiration for Sinner, as he underlined last year before Sanremo: “He is incredible, he really gives the idea of being a great person, not just an incredible sportsman. I really like his humble approach, he worked consistently”. After the bitter Roland Garros final he had also tried to cheer him up: “I recommend my Viva la Vita to him. A defeat every now and then is okay, among so many victories”.
