The Tubecon Awards 2026 gala was organized on Friday, May 8 at Logomo in Turku. At the event, social media influencers were awarded in a total of 29 different categories.
This year, Niko and Santtu were awarded as influencers of the year.
The audience’s favorite, Phenomenon of the Year and Video of the Year awards took home Weksi i.e. Henry Weckström from his video We are dropped from an airplane into the desert. At the gala, he gave a moving speech in which he thanked his father and broke into tears at the same time.
– The biggest thank you goes to the man who has always taken care of me since he was a child. Took her to choir practice, even though it’s been hard for me. Even though when I was little I didn’t realize how big a deal it is, what you’ve done for me, you’re the biggest hero of all, dad. This is for you, he said while holding up his award on stage.
Weksi made the history of the gala by winning three different awards.
