“We still do the same. We work hard, maybe even harder than normal. I don’t see any tension in the group. Maybe only healthy tension,” said Ould-Chikh about the atmosphere and state of mind within the selection.
On Sunday, FC Volendam will play the crucial match visiting Excelsior in Rotterdam. A week later the home game against Telstar awaits. According to Ould-Chikh, FC Volendam therefore still has everything in its own hands.
“I’m not worried. We still have two games. I hope we make it and if not, we have two more games after that,” says Ould-Chikh, who is referring to the possible play-offs for relegation.
