The 109th edition of the Giro d’Italia begins, which this year starts in Bulgaria. Flat stage with very short ups and downs concentrated in the 22 km circuit which will be covered twice approximately halfway through the stage. The route follows the coast and passes by the finish line for the first time to head towards Sozopol where there will be two laps in a fast circuit characterized by short undulations of which Cape Agalina constitutes a GPM (two passages). Return to Burgas always along the coast on a freeway road and arrive in the center. The last kilometers will be on wide and mostly straight roads. Last kilometer slightly uphill, last bend at 300 m, arrival on asphalt 8 m wide.
