Three dead in plane crash in France

A small plane has crashed this Sunday after taking off at the small airport of Saint-Brieuc, in French Brittany, causing the death of three people.

The victims are the pilot, 50 years old, and two of the passengers, aged 20 and 30, according to the police of the Côtes-d’Armor department. A score of rescuers have moved to the scene of the accident. The accident took place at 11:15 in the morning and the device, a DR400, “has collided in a field” near the runway, according to the same source.

The incident occurred on an unlucky weekend for aviation in Brittany. On Saturday morning, a 60-year-old man was killed in another accident in Plouhinec dans le Morbihan.
