Paula Badosa, who has been badly hit by injuries, has rarely caused a stir on the tennis court in recent months. Things look different off the court. Just this week, the Spaniard presented her own bikini collection, which was extremely well received by fans.

Spain’s tennis star Paula Badosa once again caused a real eye-catcher this week and launched her own bikini collection.

The collection is part of Badosa’s own brand “Sunaswim”, which advertises that the bikinis were created by the 28-year-old herself. The swimwear is aimed at “women who belong to the sun” and comes with a “Mediterranean design,” as it says on the homepage.

Badosa and her younger sister Jana have already presented some of the different models on Instagram in the past few days and weeks. The response from fans was extremely positive.

Compliments for the bikini collection came not only from fans, but also from other professional players. Eva Lys and Coco Gauff, among others, spoke highly in the comment columns.

Tennis career slowed down by injuries

While things are obviously going well for Badosa off the court, her tennis career has been stalling for several months or years. During this period, the former number two in the world rankings was repeatedly thrown off track by serious and persistent injuries. She regularly had to cancel planned tournament participation in order to get fit again.

The 28-year-old has also revealed mental problems that are slowing down her career.

The last time the Spaniard appeared in a WTA final was in Washington in 2024. There she also celebrated her last tournament victory to date. She made her last exclamation mark at a Grand Slam tournament at the beginning of 2025 when she made it to the semi-finals of the Australian Open.
