Canadian violinist sues Google: Search engine AI overview showed false sexual abuse allegations

Ashley MacIsaac, a well-known violinist from Canada, has sued tech giant Google over AI-generated sexual abuse allegations. When users looked up MacIsaac’s name, incorrect information appeared in Google’s AI overview. Due to the controversy that followed, the violinist saw many concerts canceled. Now he is going to court for a sum of 1.5 million euros.
