ShinyHunters steals data from 275 million teachers and students: possibly also Dutch universities

In a large-scale hacking attack on Canvas education software, data from more than 275 million students, teachers and education employees was stolen. The American parent company Instructure confirmed this to De Telegraaf. The infamous hacker group ShinyHunters, known for the Odido hack, among others, has claimed responsibility for the attack. Many Dutch educational institutions that work with Canvas are still unsure whether their data has also been affected.
