Good news for Borussia Dortmund: A sought-after top talent has committed to BVB despite high-profile offers.
According to “Bild”, the 15-year-old offensive jewel Hamzath Mohamadou wants to continue on the path with the black and yellow for the time being.
Accordingly, Mohamadou, in consultation with his family, decided against attractive and certainly lucrative offers from other clubs, including Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid. A previously discussed summer change is now off the table.
Some of the interested parties are said to have even been prepared to pay a significant fee to BVB for Mohamadou despite his young age. For now, Dortmund can apparently continue to plan with the youngster.
At BVB, Mohamadou is expected to have a great career internally, it is said.
An indication: The right-footed left winger, whose style of play has been compared to that of Ballon d’Or winner Ousmane Dembélé, will slowly be introduced to BVB’s professional team in the coming season.
Coach Niko Kovac would have another highly gifted talent in his squad that he could fall back on.
BVB’s hottest youth stock at the moment is the 18-year-old Italian Samuele Inacio, who is also already traded at PSG, Real and FC Barcelona.
BVB: Inacio’s contract runs longer than expected
With Inacio, however, BVB is not threatened with any major trouble for the time being.
Because: According to “Bild”, the youngster’s training contract, which was originally only dated until 2027, was converted into a professional contract by clause around his 18th birthday on April 2nd and was extended until 2029.
Most recently, Inacio was in the BVB starting line-up twice in a row in the Bundesliga, in the 4-0 win against SC Freiburg and in the 0-1 defeat at Borussia Mönchengladbach on Sunday.
In total, he has now made five competitive appearances in the black and yellow jersey – a journey that may still lie ahead for Mohamadou.
