The tension is high in the program The Allies. A comment from Frank so offended Roxy that she had to be stopped by Robert. “Do you have feelings in your thunder or not?” she exclaimed in Saturday night’s episode.

Participant Roxy (23) seems to be completely done with her stay in the warehouse. She misses her family, but a family visit has not been forthcoming. It caused a lot of frustration for Roxy, who then complained that ‘they are all dirty whores here’.
67-year-old Frank did not understand her outburst. He asked the other participants if she was still so upset. That comment did not go down well with 24-year-old Robert, with whom Roxy appears to have a special bond. “What do you mean: still?” it sounded offensive. Then: “You have to act normal.” But Frank was not amused by Robert’s brutality. “You have to act normal. You have to keep your big mouth to me,” he shot back.
Frank stated that Roxy was ‘carrying on’, after which Roxy freaked out. “Do you have feelings in your thunder, or not?” she shouted at Frank as she walked towards him. Robert had to stop Roxy, but she furiously headed towards Frank. “Certainly. But do you have any sense in your gut? Otherwise you simply shouldn’t come here,” he responded coolly.

‘It’s going through a lot’
Robert then shouted for Frank to ‘shut up’, after which the two men stood almost nose to nose with each other. Meanwhile, Roxy was screaming in the background that she was ‘completely devastated’ and that Frank wouldn’t understand that. “You’re being really fucking stupid,” she sobbed.
The fact that Frank responded laconically seemed to make Roxy even angrier. She paced around the room, had to be stopped again by Robert and then cried again that Frank ‘didn’t understand’. “I’m really having a hard time! You only really think about yourself.”
Robert and Frank eventually made up. “Then we both cursed at each other and we will do that once and never again,” Robert promised, after which they hugged each other.
The Allies is a game show in the evening of SBS 6 and attracts more than 600,000 viewers every evening. Sixteen participants live together in a warehouse for a month, do assignments there and one of them wins 100,000 euros at the end of the month. They also have limited contact with the outside world.
