10 artists, one LP: Larsson’s “Girls Trip” deluxe from “Midnight Sun” brings together pop icons and newcomers – and teases a tour.
The hype surrounding Zara Larsson has exploded since the summer of 2025 at the latest. The Swedish pop singer announced the deluxe version of “Midnight Sun” in mid-April. The album was released in autumn 2024.
The feature guests
With “Girls Trip” Larsson gets a lot of reinforcements. On April 22nd she published the names of the artists who will be featured on the new record. Now she delivered a small trailer: In a phone call with none other than Paris Hilton, she announced the features for the respective songs.
Their Girls Trip version of the album features Kehlani on “Blue Moon”, PinkPantheress on lead single “Midnight Sun”, Malibu and Helena Gao on “Saturn’s Return”, Eli on “Crush”, Robyn on “Puss Puss”, Madison Beer and Bambi on “The Ambition”, Shakira on “Eurosummer”, JT and Margo XS on “Pretty Ugly”, Emilia on “Girls Girls” as well Hear Tyla on “Hot and Sexy.”
From pop icons to newcomers
The “Lush Life” interpreter is bringing big pop icons like Robyn and Shakira on board, as well as current music greats like Kehlani and Tyla, as well as smaller, sometimes even lesser-known artists like Malibu or Helena Gao. She also continues her collaboration with producer and singer PinkPantheress – the two had already delivered the viral “Stateside” remix together.
Comeback with an announcement
The album is already eagerly awaited by her fans. The singer, who celebrated great success around ten years ago, made an impressive comeback last year. First, her song “Symphony” trended again on social media, then other hits like “Lush Life” and “Ruin My Life” were brought back to life. Her music radiates girl power – and her new deluxe version of “Midnight Sun” embodies exactly that vibe.
Will Zara Larsson tour Europe soon?
In the clip, Zara Larsson also teases a tour. In a phone call with Paris Hilton, she says: “I’m just finalizing my tour preparations” – “I was planning on visiting you, like on a girls’ trip, but I’m going to bring a few friends with me.”
Is there still a tour announcement in the bush? The deluxe album will be released on May 1st.
