More than three quarters of Flemish people consider our security of energy supply to be more important than the risks associated with nuclear energy. This is evident from the large-scale survey ‘Vote of Flanders’ by HLN and VTM NIEUWS. “Women are noticeably more cautious when asking whether new nuclear power stations should be built,” says Hannelore Simoens, political journalist at VTM NIEUWS and face of ‘Vote of Flanders’.
