New album will be released in June

The tour accompanies the release of the sixth studio album “Once more with you against fear”, which is scheduled to be released on June 5, 2026 via Windig/Cargo.

Almost 25 years after their founding, Klez.e continue to move between post-punk, shoegaze and German-language indie rock – but on the new album with significantly more openness and lightness than last.

While “Disintegration” and “Erregung” were characterized by a dark mood, the new songs seem more direct and immediate. In terms of content, the record revolves around insecurity, loss and social tensions, but always counteracts these themes with moments of closeness and cohesion.

“Melancholia” is a foretaste of the new record:

Familiar sound, new openness

Siebert’s handwriting as a producer should be particularly familiar: in addition to his work with Klez.e, in recent years he has produced for Phillip Boa and the Voodooclub, Monolink and Juli, among others.

His sense of atmosphere and sound architecture is also evident on “Once more with you against fear”. The songs appear to be arranged on a large scale and rich in detail, with shimmering guitars, cool synthesizers and a lot of space between the individual elements.
