Recommendations of the Editorial team

Europe is back: After a nine-year break, the band releases their new album “Come This Madness”. The record will be released on September 25th.

The first single is already out: “One on One” brings a lot of what you’re used to from the band – the classic sound of driving bass riffs and stirring melodies. Frontman Joey Tempest on the lead single: “Since ‘One On One’ was just a demo, we stuck with it, never gave up and made it what it is: a rousing, classic hard rock song.”

The music video visualizes the song from a new perspective. Actor Peter Stormare sits as the protagonist in a barren room, broken and scarred by life, and sings along to the track.

The new album features guest appearances from Tobias Forge (Ghost) and Michael Åkerfeldt (Opeth) and was produced by producer Tom Dalgety (Ghost, Rammstein, Pixies, The Cult, Opeth). It was mixed by Mike Fraser (AC/DC, Van Halen, Metallica, The Cult, Loverboy).

Europe know what they are doing – after all, the band has been in the music industry since the 80s. Their song “The Final Countdown” is still a popular hit today, and they are one of the few bands that still play with the original line-up.
