The Swiss race starts with the leadership of the Ineos team, the Slovenian at the first stage race of the year
Dorian Godon, a 29-year-old Frenchman from the Ineos team, won the prologue time trial that inaugurated the Tour of Romandie, 3.2 km with start and finish in Villars-sur-Glâne. For him it is the 20th success of his career. Behind him, with the same gap of 6″12, the Portuguese Oliveira and the Swede Soderqvist. Sixth, 7″ behind, the two-time world champion (in line) Tadej Pogacar, making his debut in the Swiss race which for him is the first stage race of the year.
