Lucy Woesthoff is very upset that Tijl Beckand imitated her husband Dinand Woesthoff in a broadcast of Beste Kijkers. “Take your moment!”, she snaps at him passive-aggressively.
It is undeniable that The Voice of Holland coach Dinand Woesthoff is absolutely not a crowd favorite. Many people find him a poser, not least because of the pinched way he talks and sings. It characterizes him, but it also irritates him. And he is mocked for it, for example by Tijl Beckand.
Tijl’s imitation
Tijl mocked Dinand in the Best Viewers program. “The reason, I think, that The Voice is no longer live is because he speaks for about 50 minutes at a time. Yes, that is really true. That goes on and on. I was on the jury with him in Superkids. Then a child would have performed very well and then he would leave,” he says.
Tijl then does a long imitation of Dinand and his strained voice. He imitates how long the singer spoke. “But those kids really had to leave the studio at six o’clock!”
Lucy not amused
Lucy Woesthoff really can’t laugh about this. “Tijl, take your moment boy! 👍🏻”, she snaps at him passive-aggressively Instagram.
One thinks that’s lame of her: “Come on, it’s certainly true. 😂 Sad that you react to it.”
