John and Kees de Bever are getting a seventh season of their successful real-life soap. The couple from Den Bosch announced this on Monday during the King’s Day special of Omroep Max.
As presenter Jan Slagter to John asks what he thinks that he has to work again in the real-life soap, the singer responds with a laugh. “Yes, I just participate. No, I like it, because it doesn’t cost us any energy. We are just ourselves and that doesn’t take any energy,” he says.
Seventh season
Kees also beams when he shares the news. “Just another seventh season,” he laughs. The gentlemen’s successful soap previously attracted hundreds of thousands of viewers on RTL5.
When the new season will be shown remains a mystery. The singer’s special King’s Day performance at Soestdijk Palace can in any case be seen in the soap, because they are also followed by a camera crew on this holiday.
The men are going to have a busy period, because they recently announced that they are playing the leading role in a new cinema film. Kees surprised John with that news on the island of Malta.
