This season, Ziraat Bankkart was at the top of the Efeler League after the Champions Cup and Cup Volley.
Ziraat Bankkart, which won the final series 3-0 by winning the matches against Galatasaray HDI Sigorta 3-1, 3-2 and 3-0 respectively, became the leading party in the championship fight.
Thus, Ziraat Bankkart reached a happy ending in the league for the 5th time in its history and in the last 6 seasons.
Head coach Mustafa Kavaz won his 4th league championship at Ziraat Bankkart, which he has been coaching since February 2022.
EFELER LEAGUE CUP HAS BEEN IN ANKARA FOR 6 YEARS
The league champion left the capital for the 6th consecutive time. Ziraat Bankkart took the championship cup to its museum in 2021, 2022, 2023, 2025 and 2026, and Halkbank in 2024.
Ziraat Bankkart also caught Fenerbahçe, which ranks 3rd in the list of teams that have won the most championships in the history of the Efeler League.
Eczacıbaşı holds the title of the most successful team in the Efeler League with 12 championships. Eczacıbaşı is followed by Halkbank (10).
GALATASARAY’S CHAMPIONSHIP LONG HAS EXTENDED TO 37 YEARS
Galatasaray, which won its 4th league championship in 1989, could not end its championship longing this year either.
The yellow-reds, who won the championship in the first season of the league in 1970-71, lifted the league cup 3 times in a row in the 1986-87, 1987-88 and 1988-89 seasons.
