English footballer Jack Grealish apparently fell asleep in a bar. As the British newspaper “The Sun” reports, the 30-year-old visited the “Stories” restaurant in Manchester with friends on Saturday. Around an hour later, the offensive player is said to have fallen asleep, eyewitnesses reported that Grealish was sitting in an armchair and was no longer responsive.

An observer told the tabloid: “His friends tried to wake him up. The alcohol must have gotten to him.” In pictures available to the paper, Grealish sits in front of a table full of drinks.
The Englishman, who is on loan from Manchester City to Everton FC, is currently out injured. Grealish suffered a stress fracture in his foot in mid-January and underwent surgery. The 30-year-old confirmed the end of the season himself on Instagram.
“I didn’t want the season to end like this, but that’s football, I’m totally disappointed,” he wrote on social media. “I’m sure I’ll come back fitter, stronger and better than before.”
