Idols– and The Voice of Finland familiar from the programs Kristian Meurman46, got into a special situation with Onnibuss over the weekend.
Meurman says in his Facebook post that he had bought a bus ticket from Turku to Lohja for Saturday, April 25. When Meurman got on the bus, the driver asked him to get off.
– I got on board, showed the ticket and the driver said: “This is for that shift, which will probably come soon”. Aha, I said, and got off the ride, says Meurman.
– When I realized to click “follow the bus” I saw that the bus in question was the one that dropped me off a moment ago. Well, one more hour of Turku for me, but it’s annoying to pay for the ticket twice, he adds.

Meurman tells Iltalehti that he sent an email about the incident to Onnibus’ customer service.
– Something just happened. That kind of thing hurts, says Meurman.
– Presumably it was some kind of data transmission problem – the thing was registered incorrectly, he says that it happened for a probable reason.
Meurman would not say whether he received any compensation for his tickets.
– Everything ended well. There is no beef, Meurman assures.
– After all, these have very clear operating models for how companies manage these compensations. I have nothing to add to this. Everything has been taken care of properly, he says.
After the incident, Meurman says that he plans to continue using Onnibus. He has already bought a new bus ticket.

Meurman became famous after participating in 2007 Idols-singing competition, where he finished fourth. Meurman recently competed in The Voice of Finland, where he was one of the early favorites. However, Meurman was eliminated from the competition before the semifinals.
After his elimination, Meurman told Iltalehte that he was surprised that people still remembered him.
– I had somehow thought that the deep ranks of the people would have forgotten who I am over the years. Of course, the situation was humbling, something has clearly been done right, Meurman said.
Meurman mentioned that planning for the future has already started, but he did not yet know its exact content. However, recording and publishing new music is Meurman’s big dream.
– Now I go one day at a time. First, of course, the most important work, i.e. the gigs, will be done. Let’s see what’s to come. Let’s just say that at least you won’t see me at the Tango market, Meurman mused.
