RTL journalist Christophe Deborsu reprimanded for reporting on abuse of benefits in Wallonia: “Stigmatizing and discriminatory”

The French-speaking Council for Journalistic Deontology (CDJ) rules that RTL journalist Christophe Deborsu has violated journalistic ethics with his controversial ‘unemployment documentary’ in Verviers in Wallonia. The report led to hundreds of complaints after the broadcast. RTL has stated that it does not agree with the judgment and will contest the decision.
